x50v/WM5-AKU2?

DELL x51vのA12 ROMはAxmixsiteの記述を見る限りAKU2.3.1のようですね。

変更点

  1. Windows Mobile V5.0 Adaptation Kit Update 2.3.1 enhancement.
  2. Audio driver change (headset output gain adjustment) due to French audio regulation
  3. Fix system can't wake up with CF card installed.
  4. Enhance CF I/O card performance.
  5. Fix CF serial modem port Open/Close issue.
  6. Support Activesync serial connection switcher.

そのくせ「Todayに時計がない」という記述もあったような（x50vではないのでちゃんと読んでいません）

このROMをWM2k3→WM5アップグレードCDを使ってx50vに焼けるという記述がありました。

No it's not a typo. You just have to have the X50v WM5 CD and the A12 x51 Update.
Start your x50v CD and after the programm has checked the rom file you have to replace the x50v rom with the a12 rom.

But be careful. I've allready done it with the a06 rom and there I've had some troubles and it was hard to flash back.

早速やってみましたが、結果駄目でした。
CDの内容をHDDにコピーした後で
1)最初のデバイスチェック後、3つのROMファイルをいろいろな組み合わせで替えてみる
結果：駄目
現象：不正なイメージです（だったかな？）がx50vに表示されストップ


2)最初のデバイスチェック後1度めの再起動となった後で、3つのROMファイルをいろいろな組み合わせで替えてみる
結果：駄目
現象：A/Bは置換してもOKだったが、本来のファイルと思われる3つ目のファイルを書き換えておらず、焼かれるROMはCD内のもののまま


3)イメージファイルの書き込み開始した後からデータ転送が始まるまでの間に3つ目のROMファイルを置換してみる
結果：駄目
現象：(1)と同じ


結局またWM2k3-JPN ROMに戻しました...orz
